George M. Bland, 72, of Sandwich, passed away Wednesday, March 28. 2018 at his home.

George is survived by his mother, Eileen Bland; two children: Brad (Courtney) Bland and Michelle (Nick) Grimm; and four grandchildren:  Andrew and Alex Bland and Brent and Kyle Grimm.

George is preceded in death by his father, Malvern Bland; a brother, John Bland; and a sister, Maureen Cocking.

Cremation care has been accorded.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th Street, in Rochelle with Pastor Jim Allen officiating and military rites by the Eastern Lee-Ogle Honor Guard and United States Army.  Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
