George H. Mueller Jr., 71, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Rochelle Community Hospital. George was born on January 11, 1948 to George H. Sr. and Drusella (Pickrign) Mueller in Laona, Wisconsin. He married Barbara Sue Coleman on August 4, 1975 in Oregon, IL. He worked for Road Ready Transfer as an over the road truck driver for 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rueben.

George is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara of Rochelle; five children: Dale Mueller, Kevin (Lisa) Chrisco, Teresa (Terry) Dodillet all of Rochelle, Tina (Darrin) Lawrence of Steward, IL and Melissa (Christopher) Reynolds of Rochelle; two sisters: Frieda (Dean) Kristler of Parkers Prairie, MN and Lela (Bill) Pemberton of Rochelle, IL; sister-in-law, Teresa Mueller of Rochelle; 13 grandchildren: Mason Mueller, Chalee Grace Mueller, Michael Sunderlin, Heather (Kyle) Arreguin, Kaite Chrisco, Britany Miller, Allysha Chrisco, Brion Chrisco, Stevie Dodillet, Clarissa Dodillet, Amber Lawrence, Corey Lawrence, Zackary Lawrence; and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the First General Baptist Church, 500 S. 12th St., Rochelle. The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Corey Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle.
