Georgia Ann Carolyn Richardson, 89, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Mt. Morris, IL. Georgia was born on August 5, 1932 to George F. and Lucille (Ellsworth) Harrison in Rochelle. She was married to Billy Ray Richardson and he preceded her in death in 1991.

Georgia enjoyed ceramics, reading and shopping but more than anything she loved spending time with her family. She was active with the Women of the Moose for many years.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Dana Richardson; infant twin brother, George; sister, Norma Austin and brother, Joyce "Bump" F. Harrison.

Georgia is survived by her daughter, Denise Richardson of Rochelle; two grandchildren: Shauna (Billy) Combs of Davis Junction, IL and Cole Smith of Rochelle; three great grandchildren: Skylar, Emerson and Hadlee Combs.

The family would like to thank the nurses , CNAs and staff at Pinecrest Nursing Home and the Serenity Hospice and Home for their wonderful care.

The visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 13 at the funeral home with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. Burial will follow the service at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle. Memorials may be made in Georgia's memory to the American Diabetes Association or Serenity Hospice and Home.
