Gloria "Jeannie" Rowe, loving wife, mother and grandmother, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at the Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born on March 5, 1952 in Elizabeth, VA, the daughter of Clinton Douglas and Mabel Lucille (Parks) Schrader. Jeannie was united in marriage to Larry Rowe on June 20, 1970 in Chicago, IL. She lovingly raised her children and also worked at Del Monte and Walmart in Rochelle. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Regina Rowe; and a brother Donny Schrader.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; three children, Renee Rowe of Rochelle, Rhonda (Juan) Solano of Rochelle, and James "JD" Rowe of Rochelle; eleven grandchildren, Michael Rowe, Justin Bertaud, Carissa Valenti, Amanda Rowe, Miguel Gutierrez, Damien Mohica, Jesse Mohica, Destinee Mohica, Mia Rowe, Jesenia Solano, and Kyler Rowe; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Layla Gabe, and Aubrielle; three brothers, Chuck Schrader of China Grove, N.C., Ronald (Corrine) Schrader of Kansas City, MO, Michael (Haydee) Schrader of Cicero, IL; and one sister, Linda (Tom) Lowitzki of Streamwood, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th Street, in Rochelle with Rev. Dr. James A. Tilley officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 P.M. on Friday prior to the service. Cremation rites will follow services with interment of her cremated body at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
