Gregory G. Brown, age 45 , of Rochelle, IL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 8, 2007
at Rochelle Community Hospital. He was born on Dec. 2, 1961 in Rochelle, the son of Albert and Barbara (Ewald) Brown. Greg married Sharon Gates on Feb. 5, 1980 in Rochelle. He was employed by Alderks Tire Service since 1995. Greg loved four wheeling with his grandchildren and loved driving the wrecker.

Surviors include his wife: Sharon of Rochelle; 6 Children: Daniel (Jennifer) Brown, David Brown, Travis Brown, Benjamin Brown, Michael Stombaugh and Rachel (Joel) Berry; 8
grandchildren: Nicholas, Alison and Julia Berry, Lauren and Nolan Stombaugh, Austin, Noah, and Wesley Brown; sisters and brothers: Kathy (Doug) Johnson of Rochelle, Patricia (Vince) Burtman of Pocahontas, AR, Karen (Perry) Lawrence of Rochelle, Mary Brown of Rochelle, Diane (Ed) McBride of Rochelle, Robert (Laurie) Brown of Cobleskill, NY, Denise Brown of Rochelle, Martha (Tom) Holder of Mt. Morris, Grant (Carolyn) Brown of Ashton, Linda (Vance) Holper of Ohio, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded by his parents: Albert and Barbara Brown and one niece: Barbara Ann Holder.

Funeral Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Anne Erickson officiating. Visitation will be Wed. Oct. 10th from 4 to 7 PM
at Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family.
