Gretchen Victoria Miller, 47, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Rochelle Community Hospital in Rochelle, Illinois. Gretchen was born on February 18, 1974 to Harley and Rita (Clarke) Schatz in Elgin, IL. On October 24, 2009, she married Donald D. Miller in Rochelle. She worked for several years in healthcare and most recently with Visiting Angels.

Gretchen enjoyed sewing, working out and just being active. She relished traveling with her husband, Don, and son, Alden and all the memories that were made on their various vacations. She loved spending time with her family and adored her time watching her grandson, Corbin.

Gretchen is survived by her husband, Don of Rochelle; four children: Kevin Miller of Rochelle, Bradlee Miller of Ottawa, IL, Rebecca Miller and Alden Miller both of Rochelle; grandson, Corbin Johnson; brothers: Ron (Julie) Schatz and Chris (Ruth) Schatz both of South Elgin, IL and sister, Holly Schatz of Rockford, IL.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her goddaughter, Victoria.

There will be a visitation from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M., Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. Following the visitation, there will be refreshments and a celebration of Gretchen's life at the Rochelle V.F.W., 318 4th Avenue, Rochelle.
