Harold E. Horton Jr. 64 of Rochelle died Saturday April 12, 2008, in St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford. He was born Oct. 28, 1943 in Rochelle the son of Harold and Eleanor (Ackerson) Horton. He married Cathy Rasmussen Nov. 22, 1980 Rochelle.
1961 Graduate of Rochelle Twp. High School.
Proceeded by his parents.
Member of First Presbyterian church in Rochelle. Harold had worked at Carnation and Nestle in Rochelle.
Survived by wife Cathy of Rochelle, two daughters Dr. Jill Horton of Naperville, IL Tricia Erickson of Rochelle and 1 granddaughter Rhayne Erickson.
Four sisters Pat Thompson of Danville, IL, Alice Miller of Madison, WI, Joan Horton of Madison, WI and Jeri Kronan of Rochelle.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 16th at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. John Hamilton. Visitation Tuesday from 4 to 7 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Memorial has been established. Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens Cemetery.
