Harold D. Strohman, 98 of Monroe Center, IL, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010 at
Coventry Living Center in Sterling, IL. He was born on Feb. 4, 1912 in Reynolds Township
in Lee County, IL to John and Theresa (Sieberns) Strohman. Harold married Elda I. Hanneman on June 12, 1935 in Lindenwood, IL and she preceded him on Oct. 23, 2001. He was also preceded by a brother: Wilbur.
Harold farmed from 1962 - 1977 and then was employed by Swenson Spreader from 1962 to
1977. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood, IL.
Surivors include a sons: Richard (Donna) Strohman of Green Valley, AZ and Gerald (Connie) Strohman of Lindenwood, IL; 5 grandchildren: Kimberly Heshelman, Kevin Strohman,
Heath Strohman, Michelle Knight and Stephanie Musselman; and 5 great grandchildren: Erica Heshelman, Jordyn Strohman, Amber Strohman, Makenna Knight and Kaleb Knight; and
special friend Florence Greenfield of Dixon, IL
Services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood, IL, on Wed. June 2, 2010
at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Yarrington. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle. Memorials to
