Harriette A. Ortlund, 93, of Rochelle, IL passed away Sunday January 22, 2012 at the Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born Oct. 5th 1918 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Edward and Anna Kasper. Harriette married Robert Knapp Ortlund April 3, 1939 in Sioux City, IA. Robert preceded her on Jan. 9th 1989. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Jayne Schafer, and Julia Merlino.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Friendly Society.
Survived by 4 daughters: Nancy Louise (Jack) Landrum, of Houston, TX., Carol Ann (William) Leszinske of Houston TX, Marilyn Rae (Gale) Biers of New Bern N.C. and Leanne Jean (Mark) Tilton of Eatonton, GA; 8 grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. The family request memorial to the Rochelle Hospital or the Hub City Senior Center.
