Obituary
Harvey R. Brown, 77 of Rochelle, passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. He was born on Sept. 26, 1934 in Corning, AR to Morris and Gusta (Elder) Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Aubrey "Buddy" Brown, Roy Brown, Loren Brown, and Edith Juanita Graves. Harvey was employed as a truck driver.
Survivors include the mother of his children: Joyce Brown Kivikko of Rochelle; son: David (Susan R. Tyler) Brown of Rochelle; daughter: Melanie D. Lutzow of Rochelle; sisters: Barbara
Ann (Stanley) Rapp of Tulsa, OK, Maxine C. (Floyd) Hahs of Independence, MO, Oma Dean (Billy) Whitehead of Elizabeth, AR;
6 grandchildren: Jason, Amber, Skylar, Trisha, Tiffani, and Traci; and 9 great grandchildren.
Cremation rites arranged by Unger-Horner Funeral Home. The family is hosting a visitation from 2 - 5 PM on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at David's home, 306 S. 3rd St., Rochelle.
