Henry "Junior" Holt, age 54, of Hillcrest, IL died on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Junior was born March 27, 1959 in Rochelle, IL, the son of Henry and Louise (Wright) Holt Sr. Junior married Cynthia Rose Strouse on October 15, 1977 in Rochelle. He worked for Eaton Controls as a punch press set-up operator. Junior is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Louise Holt; infant grandson: Terrell Holt.

The highlight of Jr.'s life was spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. Jr. Enjoyed cookouts, fishing and playing his bass guitar, which was his God given ministry.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia; children: Tanya Holt of Lebanon, Missouri, Nathan Holt of Rockford, James Holt of Rochelle and Caitlin Holt of Rochelle; five grandchildren: Noah Holt, Alexis Holt, Gabriel Holt, Aidyn Holt and Cameron Holt; two brothers: Jerry (Betty) Holt of Brookport, IL, Bob (Linda) Holt of Machesney Park, IL; three sisters: Evelyn (Lou) Spaniel of Rochelle, Peggy Holt of Rockford and Priscilla (Al) Ortiz of Rochelle.

The funeral service will be Mon. May 6th 4:30 PM at the Church of God, 222 First Ave. Rochelle, IL. Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 4:15 also on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial to be established. On line guest book at www.ungerhorner.com
