Howard L. Hammond 59 of Sterling, IL died Sept. 1, 2010 at home. He was born Dec. 11, 1950 in Rochelle the son of Earl and Esther (McClain) Hammond.
Survived by 4 brothers Larry (Mary) Hammond of Rochelle, Bill (Rosemary) Hammond of Keens, IL, Harold Hammond of Sycamore, IL and Harlen Hammond ; 4 sisters: Beulah (Rick) Skelt of
Rochelle, IL, Dorothy (LaVerne) Johnson of Keens, IL, Barb Dodson of Rochelle, IL and Carol
Goatcher of Wynn, AR.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St, Rochelle with the Rev. Brett Todd officiating. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle. Memorial has been established.
