Obituary
Howard R. Powell, age 80, longtime Rochelle resident, passed away December 31, 2010. He was the former manager of Spurgeon's Department Store for over Forty Years. Beloved husband of Judy, loving father of Brian (Amy) Powell, Bruce (Tammie) Powell, Brad Powell, and Barry (Laura) Powell; dear grandfather of Chris, Joe, Brian Jr., Austin, and Andrew; fond brother of Ellen McCully and Bill (Elaine) Powell; dear uncle to many.
Visitation will be from 4 - 7 pm on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th ST., Rochelle. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle. Interment will be at the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to St Patrick Church.
