Hubert A. Fridge, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024, at the age of 83 in Dixon, IL. Born on September 22, 1940, in Defuniak Springs, FL,

Hubert was the son of William and Mary Lou Fridge. Hubert married Martha Rose Lambert March 4th, 1967. Martha passed away October 15, 1997. On May 6, 2000 Hubert married Anna Heaton. Hubert is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Martha; daughter: Robin Fridge, son: John Fridge and step son, James Heaton.

Hubert is survived by his son, Paul Fridge and daughter, Stacey Williams both of Dixon, Il. His sister, George Ann Doss, nephew Donny Doss of FL niece Teresa Kwiatkowski of AL, Eric and Megan Knutson of FL; his grandchildren, Christopher Matthews, Shawna Matthews (Greg Lance) of IL, Kyle (Emily) Matthews of TX, Jamie and Jacob Heaton of IL; great grandchildren: Willowdine Schwarz, Mason Lance of IL, Fletcher and Harvey Matthews of TX; Hubert's wife, Anna Fridge, step daughters; Michelle and Angie Heaton and step son; Craig Heaton of IL.

To honor and celebrate the life of Hubert A. Fridge, a Funeral Service will be held on January 11, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the same location. Memorial is established to to the family.
