Ida Henrietta (Howe) Hall, 91, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 at Manor Court in Rochelle, Illinois.  Ida was born on September 29, 1933 in Dixon, IL to George and Lillian (Yochem) Howe.  On July 27, 1951, she married Joseph G. Hall. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on October 6, 2009.

Ida worked 30+ years at Caron International.  She was a member of OLD (Ogle Lee DeKalb) Communicator's Radio Club.  She always wanted to be on the go, whether it was playing Bingo, going to the riverboats to play slots, shopping or just chasing the firetrucks down the street to see where they were going!

Ida loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed baking treats for them.  Her chocolate chip cookies were never passed up, and the turkey shaped cookies during the holidays were always a hit!

Ida is survived by two of her children: Ronald J. (Becky) Hall of Stillman Valley, IL and Amelia L Stein of Cape Coral, FL; two granddaughters: Amber (Cal) Schoonover of Janesville, WI and Tamara (Dustin) Lewis of Stillman Valley, IL; ten great-grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews and treasured sister-in-law, Julie Howe.

Ida is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hall; son, Donald Hall; brothers: George W. Howe and Harold Howe; sisters: Lois Fryman and Leota Kunde; granddaughter, Tina Marie Higdon, and beloved son-in-law, Jeffery Stein.

The visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. , Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jack Briggs officiating.  Burial is at Franklin Grove Cemetery in Franklin Grove, IL.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ida's memory to Serenity Hospice and Home.   Visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guest book.
