Isaac "Ike" Lee Davis, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Alden Park Strathmoor Nursing Home. He was born on October 16, 1932 in Rochelle, the son of Charles Allen and Amanda Kathryn Meacham Davis. He married Doris Simms on June 7, 1956 in Rochelle. Ike served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for and then retired from the Rochelle Municipal Utilities. Preceded in death by his brother: Billy Dean Davis, who was killed in action in the Korean Conflict and his infant son: Michael.

He is survived by his wife: Doris Davis of Rockford; daughter: Rebecca Jean (Neal) Warren of Rockford; brother: Doneal (Dot) Davis of Spokane, WA; sister: Doris Jane (Arthur) Sanders of Columbus, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 - 7 PM at Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th ST., Rochelle, IL. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Unger Horner. Burial at the Trinity Memory Gardens, Rochelle with Military Services provided by the Eastern-Lee Ogle Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Faith Center, 4700 S. Main St. Rockford, IL.
