IRENE HANSEN, age 88, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Watertown, WI. She was born on November 8, 1928 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Thomas and Edna Jane (Wells) Atkinson. Irene married Hershel Murphy in 1945 in Fairfield Illinois. They Divorced in 1960. She Remarried to Glen Morgan in 1963 in Oregon Illinois. Glen Passed away in 1989. Irene then met and married Clifford Hansen in 1990 at Rochelle, Illinois. Clifford Passed away in 1995. She retired from Caron's International. She continued working part time cleaning and caring for elderly friends. Irene was a member of the V.F.W. Post 3878 Women's Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents, All three husbands and Her Special Friend John Arndt. Her Siblings: Joseph Gaylord Atkinson, Alta Cravens, Mary Alta Bell Walker, Enda Mae Williams, and Charles Thomas Atkinson.

Grandchildren: Thomas L. (Rebecca) Murphy, Donald R. (Teresa) Murphy, Mike L. (Nicki) Murphy, Sandra L. (Eric) Thomas, Becky K Whitrock, Kevin (John) Murphy, Jolene (Jason) Jourdan, Patrica (Josh) Wirth, Melinda (Raymond) McCoy and Jennifer Griffith.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle with Rev. Raymond Bezanson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 - 10:50 am Friday prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at the Trinity Memory Gardens.
