Harvey "Irvin" Hawk, age 98, of Lindenwood, IL, passed away on Friday, March 27,
2009 at Northside Hospital & Heart Institute in St. Petersburg, FL.

He was born on Oct. 13, 1910 in Curwensville, PA; the son of Emanuel and Estella (Frampton) Hawk. On July 11, 1931, Irvin married Helen M. Strickland in Williamsport, PA. Prior to retiring he farmed all his life in the Lindenwood area.
He was member of the Union Church in Lindenwood, and Past Master of the Meridian Sun Masonic Lodge #505. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen on Feb. 14, 2004; 2 brothers:
Maurice and Marvell; sister: Loretta Bornhoft and ½ sister: Annie Bell Yeaney.

Survivors include a son: Ronald (Joan) Hawk of St. Petersburg, FL.

Services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Pat and Rev. Les McClelland officiating, visitation will be Friday form 4 to 7 p.m. at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. Rochelle, IL
Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery and memorials can be made to the Lindenwood Union Church or Ogle County Hospice.
