Iva E. Leathers, age 93, of Rochelle died on November 28, 2008 at the Rochelle Gardens and Care Center. She was born on Oct. 4, 1915 in Arcola, IL, the daughter of Samuel R. And Carrie J. (Dove) Shook. Iva married Ernest A. Leathers on Oct. 12, 1935 in Ottawa, IL and he preceded her on Jan. 9, 1990. Also preceded by a granddaughter: Christine Davidson; son-in-law: James Harris and Sister: Flossie Vanstone.

Survivors include 3 daughters: Jane Harris of Rochelle; Mary (Eugene) Bunger of Rochelle;
and Phyllis (E.A.) Williams of Bald Knob, AR; 9 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and
16 great great grandchildren.

Funeral serivces will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle, IL
on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Greg Hoffman. Visitation will be on
Monday, Dec. 1st from 4 to 7 pm at Unger-Horner. Burial at White Rock Cemetery and memorials can be made to Ogle County Hospice or to Rochelle Gardens Care Center.
