Jack Albert Crawford, 82, of Rochelle, passed away April 9, 2010 at the Polo Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Polo, IL. Jack was born Oct. 24, 1927 the son of John and Mabel (Jameson) Crawford in Kansas City, Mo. He married Patricia G. Johannes Nov. 9, 1950 in Salina, KS. Jack served in the U.S. Army during W. W. II. He enjoyed camping and was a 22 year member of the Prairie Ramblers Camping Club. He also was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church.
Jack is survived by his wife Patricia of Rochelle; three sons: Jerald (Sandie) Crawford of Hampshire, IL, Richard (Jean) Crawford of Rochelle and Steven (Jeanne) Crawford of Lake in the Hills, IL ; three daughters: Julia (Steven) Meyer of Carol Stream ,IL, Rita (James) Feltes of Yorkville, IL and Stacey (James) Karr of Marengo, IL and a sister Virginia (Myron) Harrimann of Zapata, TX and a half-brother, Roger Plankenhorn of Salina, KS
Also 14 grandchildren, 11 great grand children and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Military services will be provided by VFW Post 3878 Rochelle.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 13, 2010 at St. Patricks Catholic Church at 10:30 A.M. His body will be donated for medical study following the services.
