Obituary
Jackalee Scherer, 75 of Ashton, IL; passed away on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 at
Franklin Grove Nursing Home. She was born on July 24, 1934 in Webb City, MO,
the daughter of Perry L. and Elsie (Graham) Bogner. On May 16, 1953 she married Carl Eugene Scherer and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1978. Jackalee was also preceded by 4 brothers: Karl, Bob, Kenneth and Lewis; sister: Maxine Burke; and granddaughter: Sarah Elizabeth Scherer.
Survivors include 4 sons: George (Lynn) Scherer of LaHabra, CA, Jerry (Kristi) Scherer of Ashton, IL, Mark Scherer of CA and Michael Scherer of CA; daughter: Sheri Jobe
of Fairburn, GA; and 9 grandchildren.
Services and burial will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA. on August 25, 2009. Arrangements were by Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL.
