James "Bruce" Cagle, 61 of Rochelle, passed away in his home on June 28, 2013. Bruce was born June 12, 1952 in Wynne, Arkansas, to William and Mary (Bounds) Cagle. He was the youngest of 17, but considered a family member by many. He was employed for many years at Caron International and later worked at Eaton Corporation in Rochelle.



Bruce was preceded in death by 6 brothers: William Lee Earl, Willie "Sonny" Jr., Johnny, Roger, Bobby and Paul Cagle and 5 sisters: Mildred Ann Cagle, Georgia McCoy Walker, Marie Stevens, Betty Stogsville and Jewel Russell. He also lost a very special friend who was like a brother, Bruce Nelson.

Bruce is survived by son: Steve (Sarah Carmichael) Cagle of DeKalb, IL; 2 daughters: Rhonda (Kevin) Crandall of Rochelle and Jennifer Cagle of Rochelle; 3 brothers: Cecil (Pat) Cagle of Peoria, Larry (Lynette) Cagle of Marion, Ronald Cagle of Rochelle; 2 sisters: Martha Harrison and Mary Manley both of Rochelle; 7 grandchildren: Mallory and Noah Mershon, Mitch and Mackenzie Crandall, Myah Braden, Makenna Cagle and Emma Carmichael; Godson Joe (Janna) Cagle of Rochelle; special friend Carmel Klein.



A heartfelt thanks to his AA family who have been a constant source of strength, especially Bill W.

Funeral service will be Tuesday July 2, 2013, 7PM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle. Visitation will be Tuesday, 3 hours before the funeral, 4-7 PM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Memorial to be established.
