James E. Sanders, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in his home. Jim was born on July 31, 1961 to Robert and Betty (Macklin) Sanders in Rochelle. He worked as an electrician for many years. Jim loved spending time and laughing with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, and watching and cheering on the Cubs with his mom. Jim was great at fixing things and was happy to help others to do the same. He was an all around good guy, and will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by his father, Robert Sanders and his brother, Robert Sanders, Jr.

Jim is survived by his mother, Betty Sanders; three children: Tamra Sanders of Winnebago, Zach (Mallory) Sanders of Virginia Beach, VA, and Mackenzie Sanders of Rochelle; step-son, Ryan Carson; 2 grandchildren: Joleigh Williams, and Riley Sanders; sister, Sherrie Sanders; two brothers: Barry Sanders, and Randy (Pat) Sanders.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Steward Cemetery in Steward with Pastor Rob Hamilton officiating.
