Jane Ann Byro, 76, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois.  Jane was born on May 27, 1947 to Samuel and Mary (McMicken) Foose in Oswego, IL.  On July 28, 1973, she married Thomas O. Byro in Oswego.

Jane is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tom Byro of Creston; three daughters: Cara Tracey of Creston, IL, Lisa Ann (Lucas) Bourquin of Warren, IL and Amy (Chris) Shaw of Grafton, MA; nine grandchildren: Tyler Byro, Austin (Caroline) Tracey, Jack Tracey, Samuel Tracey, Jonathan (Katie) Tracey, Riley Bourquin, Calvin Bourquin, Xavier Shaw and Zander Shaw; two great grandchildren: Adelaide and Zane Tracey; and four siblings: John (Donna) Foose, Mary Lou Jackson, Margaret Baumgart and Catherine Chase.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Jackson.

A memorial visitation celebrating Jane's life will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M., Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.  The memorial service will follow at 4:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating.  Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home.  A memorial is to be established.
