Janelle Rene (Knight) Rockstead passed away on December 20, 2016.

Janelle was born January 14th, 1971 to James Gregory Knight Sr. and Nancy Marlene (Martin) Knight in Rochelle, IL.

Janelle was preceded in death by her father who was a very special man in her and her children's lives. She is also preceded in death by her mother and paternal and maternal grandparents.

Janelle is survived by the two most precious children a mother could ask for, her twins, Juliana Kristine and Jackson William, both 15 years old.

Janelle is also survived by her husband, Scott Rockstead, of Rochelle. Scott and Janelle were married August 28, 2014.

Also survived by two older brothers, and younger brother Jason (Kim) Knight; very special nieces, Morgan and Ashley Knight; and a special nephew, Noah Knight, all of Rochelle. Jason and his family stood by Janelle's side during her battle with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. Also she is survived by a dear friend, Donna Kelly of Pingree Grove, IL. Many special friends stood in love and support of Janelle's battle and she is forever grateful.

No funeral, viewing, burial or memorial services will be held at decedent's request. There will be a private family graveside service only. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Scott Rockstead to assist in burial expenses and any excess funds will be held by Scott for Janelle's children for the future.
