Jean Marie Bartel, age 42 of Rochelle, passed away at home on Monday, March 12, 2007 after battling a long illness.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1964 in Rochelle, IL the daughter of Homer Glenn and Mary Jane Williams Heather.
Survivors include her companion, Ricky McMinn of Rochelle;
son: James Raleigh of Princeton, IL
daughter: Tanya Raleigh of Rochelle
3 grandchildren: Ceceilia, Elyssia, and Austin
brother: Larry Heather of Rockford, IL
sister: Joyce (Salvatore) Zito of Rockford, IL
3 nephews whom she raised: Jason Marcoux, Joshua Marcoux and James McKay of Rochelle, IL and nephews: Jesse Heather and Travis Morse and niece: Brandi Heather; great nephews: Joshua Jr., and Dillon; Great Niece: Brooke, and many other family and friends.
Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle. Visitation will be from 1 - 2PM prior to the service on Monday.
A memorial has been established. Burial will be at the Ashton Cemetery.
