Jeffrey Paul Jenkins, 47, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was born June 19, 1971 in Sycamore, IL, the son of Paul and Carla (Harrolle) Jenkins. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his mother, Carla; aunt, Norma Hardesty and grandparents: George and Wanda Jenkins and Frank and Marilyn Harrolle.

Jeff had the amazing ability to make people smile. His warm and loving personality drew people to him like a magnet. His life revolved around music, he especially loved Elvis and Country. It was a family tradition for Jeff to recite "Twas The Night Before Christmas" from just his memory and he never missed a beat. He enjoyed working and helping people whenever he could! He treasured spending his vacations at home with his family in Missouri, boating and swimming at the lake and playing mini golf. Our lives will never be the same without you Jeff, but knowing you are in the arms of Jesus and reunited with your mom is the best gift ever.

Jeffrey is survived by his father, Paul; sister, Nicole (Brian) Morgan of Gainesville, MO; nephews and niece: Garrett, Katelyn, and Tyler Morgan; aunts and uncles: Ann (Neil) Andersen, Debra (Mike) Ingram, Sally (Dick) Harrolle, and Ruth (Ed) Devine; great aunt and uncle, Florene (Dick) Harrolle; and many other family and friends.

Cremation care is provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Rochelle, IL. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, MO. The burial will follow at Price Place Cemetery.
