Jeffrey J. Jarvis, 58, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. Jeff was born May 23, 1959 in Rochelle, the son of James W. and Linda K. (Gleim) Jarvis.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Jim and Linda Jarvis; brother, Doug (Kelly) Jarvis; significant other, Sheri Hilliard; three children, Danielle (Scott) Vance, Sean Jarvis, and Benjamin Jarvis; a nephew, Derek (Jaime) Jarvis; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents, a niece, Carly Jarvis, and a great nephew, Maddox Jarvis.

A memorial visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6 ^th St., in Rochelle.

A memorial funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Ashton United Methodist Church, 906 Richardson Avenue, Ashton, with Pastor Brandyn Simmons and Pastor Laura Crites officiating. Interment of cremated remains will follow in Ashton Cemetery. Contributions in Jeff's memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
