Jenelle Heal, 83, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb. Jenelle was born March 10, 1933 to George A. and Chloe (Craven) Davidson in Black River Township, Arkansas. She married William Heal on December 31, 1950 in Powhatan, Arkansas. She cooked for many fraternities and sororities in DeKalb in addition to working at the Focus House.
Jenelle is preceded in death by two brothers: Granville Fry and Gerald Davidson; her sister, Barbara Cunningham; son-in-law, Bill Anchondo; and great grandson, Zachery Bredesen.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bill; six children: Linda (Tadson) Bussey of Smyrna, TN, Ron (Jan) Heal, Billy Heal, Mary Anchondo all of Creston, Chris (Lisa) Heal of Chalen, WA and Jason (Virginia) Heal of Sterling, IL; one sister, Lou Saunders of Imboden, AR; brother, Charles (Maggie) Davidson of Blackrock, AR; seven grandchildren: Dawn Chanchampa, Adam (Jen) Heal, TJ Anchondo, Alex and Lauren Heal, Chloe and Caleb Heal and four great-grandchildren: Jarred Bredesen and Ethan Chanchampa, DeLaney and Riley Heal.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle with Pastor Alonna officiating. The visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 7 at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow the service with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston.
