Jennie F. Russell 83 of Rochelle, IL died early Thursday morning Feb. 12, 2009 at Rochelle Gardens. She was born March 21, 1925 in Wynne Ark. the daughter of Bunch and Callie (Knight) Taylor. Jennie married Holder L. Russell on Nov. 1, 1941 in Parkin, AR and they came to Rochelle in 1952. She retired from Rochelle Community Hospital after 25 years in 1987. Preceding her were her parents; 4 brothers: Alfred, Tony, J. T., and Clifford; and 4 sisters: Loree Pittman, Agnes Pittman, Lillie Mae Snowden, and Frances Taylor and an infant son: Eddie and her husband Holder L. Russell on Nov. 27, 1988.

Survivors include 6 Children: Carolyn (Jerry) Elder of Rochelle, IL, Bubba (Bonnie) Russell of Mt. Morris, IL, Jerry (Debbie) Russell of Oregon, IL, Tony Russell of Dixon, IL, Pat (Bill) Justice of Rochelle, IL, and Kathy (Steve) Kasmar of Holcomb, IL. 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle, on Monday at
1:30 PM, Feb. 16, 2009. Visitation will be at Unger-Horner from Noon until time of service on
Monday. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery. Memorials to Ogle County Hospice.
