Jo Ann Cassidy, loving wife, mother and grandmother, age 74, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her home with her family at her side. Jo was born December 24, 1941 to Marion and Bernice (McCray) Hall in La Moille, IL. She graduated in 1959 from La Moille High School. On October 28, 1961, she married Mike Cassidy at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Arlington, IL. Jo was a real estate agent selling and listing homes for many years in the Rochelle area. She enjoyed couples golfing with her husband and friends, and spending time with her family.

Jo is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mike; three children: Mark (Wendy) Cassidy, Steve (Jane) Cassidy and Heather Rowland all of Rochelle; two brothers: Robert Hall of Florida and Richard Hall of Ames, IA; two sisters: Norma Shaprio of Livingston, MT and Louis Guthrie of Copali Beach, WA; five grandchildren: Courtney (Eric) Arnquist, Zachary Cassidy, Cody Cassidy, Fallon Cassidy and Paige Rowland; great granddaughter, Rosemary Arnquist and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. No funeral service with cremation rites to follow.
