Joan Kathryn Myroth, 80, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at her home in Rochelle, Illinois. Joan was born on February 25, 1942 to Omar and Kathryn (Johnston) Ringenberg in Henry, IL. She married Ray Knudson and together they had three children, Kimberly, Kaye and Erland. Later, she married William "Bill" Myroth. Together they farmed for many years. Joan also worked for 37 years at Hueber and Sons as their office manager.

Joan is survived by her three children: Kimberly (Michael) Zagorski of Black River Falls, WI, Kaye (Michael) Philipps of Cape Coral, FL and Erland Knudson of Creston, IL; 5 grandchildren: Andrew Strelow of Black River Falls, WI, Kayelin Glasspoole of Burbank, CA, Amanda Glasspoole of Black River Falls, WI, Greg Zagorski of San Fransisco, CA and Robert (Nicole) Philips of Phoenix, AZ; two great grandchildren: Joan and Joseph Strelow; four step children: Linda, Ric, Marsha and Jodi and many step grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, two brothers: Donald and Philip Ringenberg, two sisters: Doreen Moline and Janet Davidson and one grandson: Michael Philips JR.

There will be a memorial visitation from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M., Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery in Bradford, IL Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Memorials may be made in Joan's memory to the Mayo Clinic.
