John W. Bowlen, age 78 of Rochelle, IL passed away on Monday, Dec. 10th at Rochelle Gardens
Care Center in Rochelle. He was born on July 17, 1929 in East Chicago, Ind, the son of Louis and Lucille (Kruetz) Bowlen. John married Carol Buttermore Sept. 15, 1961 in Chicago, IL. He had been a plant manager for Brightley Galvanizing prior to retirement.
Preceded in death by: Wife: Carol on Jan. 7, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter: Cheryl (Christopher) Combs of Rochelle; and sons: Ron (Dawn)
Bowlen of Beloit, WI, William (Donna) Bowlen of DeKalb, IL and Cary (Shari) Bieber of Hammond, IN; and 5 grandchildren; Christopher, Patrick, John, Caitlin and Chelsea.
Cremation rites were arranged by Unger-Horner Funeral Home.
