John "Jack" Terry Macklin, infant son of Andrew and Kathleen (Mulligan) Macklin, 38 days old, of Rochelle, IL, passed away in his parents arms, on December 16, 2012 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 8, 2012 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in Dekalb, IL. He will be greatly missed but the broken hearts he leaves will be filled by the beautiful love and memories he gave.

Survivors include his parents: Kathleen and Andrew of Rochelle; brother: Connor; sister: Layla; grandparents: Terry and Bonnie Macklin of Steward, IL, Michael Mulligan of Rochelle, Nancy Mulligan of Chicago; great-grandparents: Ron and Elsie Macklin of Rochelle, Helen Mulligan of Chicago and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Public visitation will be Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 4 to 7 PM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle. Private funeral service will be held at a later date at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Rochelle, IL. Burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials to be established. His parents would like to thank the NICU staff at Rockford Memorial Hospital for the care and love they gave Jack every day of his life.
