John George Walsh, 82, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Rochelle Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Rochelle. John was born on December 16, 1937 to Thomas D. and Elizabeth C. (Fulton) Walsh on the family farm in Waverly, IL. He proudly served with the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963. John worked for Rockwell International for many years. In 1991, he married Catherine Bobo. She preceded him in death on August 8, 2003.

John is survived by eleven nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Cathy, and his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings: Robert Walsh, Helen Pfeiffer and Mary Smorowski.
