Johnnie Sue Orlikowski, 70, of Rochelle, IL, formerly of Crossville, TN, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. Sue was born September 21, 1953 in Rockwood, TN, the daughter of John Henry and Betty Jane (Reed) Harris. She married Dennis Orlikowski on October 22, 2001 in Sycamore, IL.

Sue worked at the Sunrise Family Restaurant in Rochelle. She loved the outdoors, especially gardening, watching the birds, and sitting on the back porch in the summer. She was described as sassy and feisty, a woman who would always have a smile on her face and truly enjoyed her life. She was very social and up to do anything with anyone. She enjoyed listening to music, especially country music.

Sue is survived by her husband, Dennis; three daughters: Carol (Jesse) Nicholas, Hiley Argueta, and Heather Loyd; three grandchildren: McKenzie Doerr, Lucas Bruce, and Hunter Oros; a sister, Lois (Don) Leonard; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by two brothers: Michael and Ron Harris; a step-brother, Tim Parker; and a step-sister, Lisa Parker.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. in Rochelle.
