Josephine M. Arce, 89, of Rochelle, passed away on Sunday July 25, 2010 at Bethany Healthcare & Rehab Center in DeKalb, IL. She was born on Feb. 7, 1921 in Cassville, WI, to Frank and Benjamina (Escott) Gillen. Josephine married Arnulfo R. Arce in 1953 in Texas and he preceded her on June 21, 1992. Also preceding her in death was a daughter: Antonette Arce in 1973, and a sister: Ann Coyle. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Turner Brass Co. in Sycamore, IL and was a nurses aid.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Virginia (Fidel) Tenorio of Chicago; and Erlinda Silva
of Rochelle, IL; brother: Frank Gillen of Savanna, IL and is survived by many grandchildren,
great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.


Funeral Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle, on Saturday, 3:00 PM, July 31, 2010 in Rochelle, IL.
Visitation will be held the day of the service at Unger-Horner Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 3:00PM on Saturday at Unger-Horner. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in DeKalb, IL.
