Joyce Ann (Eckleberry) Lively, 64, formerly of Rochelle, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House at St. Bernards in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Joyce was born to the late William D. and Patricia A. (Cutts) Eckleberry on November 20, 1955 in Rochelle, IL. On June 28, 1975, she married James ( Bear) "Larry" Lively in Rochelle. She is preceded in death by her husband as well as her parents.

She was employed at Carons in Rochelle and Alloyed in DeKalb for several years. She was of the Christian faith and attended Grace Point Church in Trumann, Arkansas. She loved her church family. She was an avid doll collector and enjoyed sewing. She loved being a CNA when she was younger in the hospitals in Freeport, IL. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone that needed it.

Joyce is survived by three daughters: Jamie (Donald) Wray of Copper Hill, VA, Jessica (Robert) Ray and Jennifer (James) Jones both of Trumann, AR; two sisters: Susan Zies of Rock Falls, IL and Cindy (Darrel) Swope of Bean Station, TN; five grandchildren: James McLoud, Sara Skeels, Maddisyn and Luke Jones and Jace Ray; her loving canine companion that never left her side; nine niece and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James "Jimmy" Swope, Quintin Sanders, James McLoud, Robert Ray, Donnie Wray and James Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Zies, Darrel Swope, and Doug Anderson.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 18 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle. Memorials may be made to the family.
