Joyce Darlene Ferge, Loving mother, and grandmother, age 75 of Oregon, died on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the K.S.B. Hospital in Dixon. She was born on March 31, 1931 in Clare, IL, the daughter of Henry and Florence Eichner Haire. She married Glenn N. Ferge on January 17, 1947, he preceded her on April 13, 1990. She is also preceded by her daughter: Melody Friemuth and son: Rex Ferge. Joyce and her husband farmed together.

15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2006 at Trinity Memory Gardens, Rochelle.

A memorial has been established to the American Diabetes Association.
