Rochelle

Emelle Joyce Wyatt 84 of Rochelle, IL passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 She was born November 19, 1938 in Vanndale, AR to parents, Lena (Poindexter) and Dalton Futrell. After relocating to Rochelle in 1956, Joyce worked at Caron Spinning where she met her husband, Al. After marrying, Joyce became a homemaker and dedicated mother to their four children. She spent much of her free time studying her Bible and staying strong in her faith. She also enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, cooking, shopping with her daughters, tending to her flowers outside and relaxing on her outdoor porch with a glass of cold iced tea.

Joyce is survived by sons: Mitch (Linda) Wyatt of Rochelle, IL Shawn (Michelle) Wyatt of Alexandria, VA and daughter, CJ Wyatt of Kirkland, IL. She is survived by seven grandchildren Jordan, Bentley, Mikayla, Teresa, Talia, Jaeden and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; daughter, Shelly in addition to her six siblings and parents.
