Juanita Copeland, 79, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her home. Juanita was born December 2, 1937 to Thomas and Dorothy (Winchester) Chambers in DeKalb, IL. Juanita married James I. Copeland on July 20, 1957 at Herando, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2008. She worked at Eaton's for 34 years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her son, Randy Copeland; brother, George Chambers; and two sisters: Joy Helton and Florence Hector.

Juanita is survived by her five children: James Copeland, Susan Mickley, Allen (Edenir) Copeland, David Copeland and Michael Copeland; three brothers: Merle (Arlene) Chambers of Malta, IL, James Chambers of IL, Donald (Jane) Chambers of OK; five sisters: Carol Pate of IA, Judy (Merritt) Titman of TN, Alice Elliott of FL, Kathy Fry of TN and Cheryl (Richard) Harris of IL; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M., Friday at the funeral home. Burial is at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle. Memorials may be made to the family.
