Juanita "Nita" Jean Osborne, 93, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, Illinois. Nita was born on September 20, 1928 to James W. and Maybelle (Nettz) Pettitt in Dixon, IL. On March 8, 1947, she married John "Jack" E. Osborne in Rochelle. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2001.

Nita is survived by her two children: Debbie (Jeff) Kamps of Highland, AR and Steve (Ann) Osborne of Rochelle; five grandchildren: Melissa (Jim) Hill, Sarah Lowe, Aaron (Sara) Kamps, Chelsea (Josiah) Christensen and S. Tyler (Alex Ethridge) Osborne; ten great grandchildren: Hunter Schreurs, Isaac Lowe, Noah, Eden and Lily Kamps, Jocelyn, Jotham, Joanna and Jovia Christensen and Ivorie Osborne and two great great grandsons: Mason and Austin Lowe.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Hicks.

The visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. Burial is at the Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
