Rochelle - Judy Lue Sekularac, 76, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her home in Rochelle, Illinois.  She was born on October 6, 1947 to James G. and Madelyne (Cannon) Arnold in Terre Haute, IN on October 6, 1947. On December 31, 1983, she married Lothar Sekularac in Wheaton, IL.  He preceded her in death on August 3, 2011.

Judy graduated from Western Illinois University- Macomb with a Bachelor of Arts in Art. She worked to open the Sheraton Hotel at Heathrow Airport in London and was then transferred to New York Sheraton. She was a manager for Hertz in New York.

In 1987, Judy and Lother laid down permanent roots in Rochelle, Il.  Judy returned to her love of art and worked for:  Horizon Display DCX from 1988-2011, MEC from 2012-2013, Design Agency from 2014-2016 and Design Centrix Elmhurst from 2017-2020.  She retired in 2020.

Judy is survived by her four brothers:  Jerry (Seda) Arnold of Walnut Creek, CA, Dennis (Cindy) Bloomington, IL, Robert (Deb) Arnold of Pocatello, ID and Doug (Jeanne) Arnold of Honolulu, HI; brother-in-law, Peter (Chris) Sekularac of Round Lake Beach, IL and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lothar, Judy was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra (Frank) Murphy.

Interment will be at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Section 9A – Gravesite 1003 on
