Julie Rebecca Rogers, 83, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin Grove, Illinois. Julie was born on November 27, 1938 to Robert F. and Lelah B. (Huffstatler) Rogers in Earle, Arkansas. Julie graduated from R.T.H.S. Class of 1956. She worked as a legal secretary before coming a Pari-Mutuel Clerk for Arlington Race Track, Hialeah Race Track, Calder Race Track and Church Hill Downs.

Julie is survived by her nieces and nephew: René (James) Schwartz of Freeport, IL, Cheryl (Bill) Hintzsche of Byron, IL ,and Jeff (Karen Keen) Rogers of Rochester, IL, Shelly (Rich) Stoddard of Rochelle, IL.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Stevens and brother, Harold Rogers.

The visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, May 31, 2021 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Joy Alsop officiating. Burial is at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle.
