Katherine L. Jones 74 of Davis Junction, IL died Friday Sept. 11, 2009 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1934 in Tupelo, MS the daughter of Bradley Grady and Annie Belle (Boyd) Anderson. She married Troy Earl Jones May 19, 1951 in Little Rock, Ark. He preceded her on Nov. 7, 1995. Also preceded by her parents and a son Jerry A. Jones, granddaughter Erica Dawn Gates, 3 brothers Alton Anderson, R.B. Anderson and Robert Leon Anderson and 1 sister Carolyn Anderson.

Surviving: 4 sons Ricky D. Jones of Davis Jct, IL, Ron (Betty) Jones of Rochelle, IL, Michael (Mary) Jones of Byron, IL and Travis (Teresa) Jones of Stillman Valley, IL
2 daughters Kathy (Jeff) Thorp of Oregon, IL and Marilyn Flores of Lombard, IL and 1 sister Marie Jackson of Hattiesburg, MS
15 Grandchildren and 21 Great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wed. Sept. 16th at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with visitation from 9:30 to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established for the family.
Burial will be in Big Mound Cemetery, Davis Junction, IL
