Kathleen Elaine Sanders, age 82, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026 in DeKalb, Illinois. She was born in Harvard, Illinois on January 11, 1944, to her parents Roland and Betty (Rogers) Miller.

Kathleen married Harold Sanders on January 20, 1962 in Compton, Illinois. She had many hobbies such as playing the organ and doing crafts. When she wasn't crafting and spending time with family she loved to go for walks outside.

Kathleen is survived by her two children Karen Sanders of Rochelle; and Gary Sanders of Rock Falls; her brother Phillip Miller; her two sisters Gail Evans; and Peggy; and her ten grandchildren: Brooke Lindsey, Cassandra Lindsey, Quintin Sanders, Amy Sanders, Nicole Sanders, April Sanders, Gary Lee Sanders Jr., Bella Carney, Joseph Carney and Aiden Sanders; and her great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents: Roland and Betty Rogers; her husband, Harold Sanders; her two sisters: Patricia (Kenneth) Ehuke, and Karen Shuld; and her two sons: Terry Sanders and Jeremiah Sanders.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Harvest Baptist Church. Service will be immediately following at 11 A.M. with Reverend Duane Boehm officiating.
