Kathryn Lorraine Arwood (Ethridge) Schweizer, 59, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019, at her home. Kathy was born November 9, 1960 in Rochelle, the daughter of Ralph E. And Harriet K. (Hayenga) Arwood.

Kathy loved her Lord Jesus Christ, crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Lincoln Schweizer; children, Nick (Beth) Ethridge, Randy (Angela) Ethridge, Steven (Stacey) Schweizer, and Andrea (Richard) Laube; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Harriet K. Arwood; sisters, Lisa (Vinnie) Burton and Marci (Brian) Esgar; nephew, Jake (Rachel) Burton; two nieces, Kaitlin (Matt) Gille and Erin Esgar; step-children, Sheila (Tim) Thompson, Lincoln (Angela) Schweizer III, and Michael Schweizer; several step-grandchildren, step-nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Ralph E. Arwood.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. in Rochelle. Memorial visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy's memory may be directed to the family.
