Kenneth Dale Adamski, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois.  Kenny was born on March 25, 1950 to Robert C. and Marcella (West) Adamski in Antigo, WI.  He graduated from Rochelle High School in 1968, and he proudly served in the United States Marines from 1968-1972.  On August 12, 1972 he married Marilyn Strang in Rochelle, and they were married for just shy of 53 years.

Kenny spent all his life as a Butcher, first at Eagles and then at Sullivan's.  He also owned AAA Mowing, which became a lifelong hobby.  With some lifelong friends, Kenny was also a co-owner of Valleyland Trucking.  Kenny and Marilyn spent their whole lives together, raising Niki and Kevin, but Kenny's most cherished role was always Grandpa.  Whatever Kennedy and Bishop were doing, that's where Grandpa was too because after Marilyn, there was no greater love than for his grandkids.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn of Chana, IL; two children: Niki Adamski and Kevin (Steph) Adamski both of Chana, IL; two grandchildren: Kennedy and Bishop Adamski; brother, Jerry (Wilma) Adamski of Rochelle, IL and sister, Gail Skorberg of St. Charles, IL.

The visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the funeral home with military services provided by the Eastern Lee-Ogle Honor Guard and the United States Marine Core.  Cremation care will follow the service.  Burial will be at a later day in the Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.  Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.  Visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guest book.
