Kenneth Wayne Barnes, 71, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 18, 2023 at his home.  Ken was born on November 7, 1951 to James C. and Gladys D. (Bowman) Barnes in Greenville, TN.

Ken is survived by his sisters: Elizabeth (Rex) Johnson of Rochelle and Elaine (Ron) Hamilton of Loves Park, IL and his brother, J.C. Barnes of Morris Town, TN.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by infant sister, Patricia, two brothers: Albert and Tony Barnes and sister, Janet Taylor.

There will be a memorial visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.  Graveside service will follow at 11:45 A.M., Saturday at Ashton Cemetery in Ashton, IL with Pastor Duane Boehm officiating.  A memorial has been established.  Visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guest book.
