Kenneth E. "Bunny" Herwig, age 82, died on Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Franklin Grove Nursing Center. He was born on November 6, 1927 in Bradford Township, the son of Edward M. and Margaret D. Butler Herwig. Kenneth married Marilyn Maude Henert on November 16, 1946 at the Ashton Evangelical United Brethren Church. He graduated from the Ashton High School in 1946, and farmed in Bradford Township until he retired in 1993. Preceded in death by his parents.

3 grandchildren: Dr. Tara (Dr. Celso) Acevedo, Andrea (Brian) Amick, and Bailey Herwig.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Ashton United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Renardo officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM prior to the funeral at the church. Memorial to the Alzheimer's Association. Burial at the Ashton Cemetery.
